Hotkeys
In Windows you can rename a file by pressing F2 rather than right-clicking it and choosing 'Rename'. If you prefer to work from the keyboard, you can put your favorite shell extensions a quick key-press away whenever you need them. For example:
- Create a new folder by pressing Ctrl+F
- Copy paths to the clipboard using Ctrl+Shift+C
- Open a command prompt window with Win+C
- View or change a file extension using Ctrl+E
- Open a file in Notepad by pressing Ctrl+N
